Galaxy Equine

Located in Wainui, 25 minutes north of the Harbour Bridge set amongst 25 acres of rolling hills, streams & native bush is our performance breeding and schooling facility.

BREEDING

Our focus is on producing 14.2hh jumping ponies from our carefully selected band of broodmares covered by Galaxy Pourewa or his son Galaxy Spring Fever.

Pourewa’s progeny have proven themselves with wins & placings at HOY over recent years in Showhunter and Show Jumping. They are equally at home on the hunt field, A&P shows or pony club events.

Spring Fever’s oldest progeny are rising 4. Most of them are out of Thoroughbred mares in the Bay of Plenty. One of his colt foals from last season's crop has recently been exported overseas to stand as a future breeding prospect.

Our foals are raised on the hills developing co-ordination, balance and building muscle. Progeny all show athletic ability and a high degree of trainability together with wonderful even temperament. They are all well socialised to other horses, dogs and people.

SCHOOLING

Professional schooling for your pony is our specialty. We have a 60 x 40 all weather arena with a wide range of different jumps and fillers. Each schooling package is tailored to meet the needs of the individual horse and rider. Whether your goal is pony club competitions or Horse of the Year, we can help you achieve.
